Why Church
The most wonderful thing that can surely happen to anyone is that they have their spiritual life reborn and can come to know the Living God for themselves.

All those doubts about his existence swept away.
All that guilt about the things you've done wrong removed.
All that fear about dying and going to hell gone.

Instead you actually know God - the God who created heaven and earth - as a living Presence in your own life, as real to you as your husband or wife or your mother or father. You know that God is no longer someone unknown just to be feared, but someone who loves you and cares for you and who, for a long time, has sought to draw you to himself. Life takes on a whole new meaning. You now know where you came from, where you are going, and why you are here.

Just a 'pipe dream' you say? Not so! The essential message of the Christian Gospel is that God has revealed himself to us in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ. More than that, Jesus died and rose again so that the barrier of sin that existed between us and God could be broken down and a way back to God opened for all who will truly turn to God in Christ.

'To all who received Jesus, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become the children of God' [John 1:12]
