We are very pleased to have two graduates of Spurgeon's College, the Revs. Jim & Julia Binney, as our ministers.

Jim, the senior minister, describes himself as "an ordinary Pastor-Teacher who tries to help others find God in Christ for themselves that, they may grow in understanding of what it means to be a Christian".
Jim's depth of biblical knowledge is reflected in his attainment of a Master's degree in Theology.

Julia, the associate minister, has recently gained a master's degree in preaching and partners her husband in the pastoral care of the church.

Beckenham Baptist Church is a friendly community of about 250 people from a wide range of backgrounds. We have a strong social conscience and welcome all. The buildings date back to 1883 when a chapel was built on the present site, at the initiative of the London Baptist Association. Soon the church was overflowing with a number of enthusiastic Baptist Christian believers.
